Whatever brings you here a business challenge, a personal crossroads, a brand that needs direction, the work begins in the same place: with understanding what's true, what you want, and what's actually in the way.

Before any plan, strategy, or identity is built, we spend real time with the beliefs, the wants, and the underlying intent. In coaching or in marketing, this is where the real work happens — and where lasting change becomes possible.

Once the foundations are clear, the rest (the plan, the brand, the next step) has somewhere solid to stand. This isn't about perfection. It's about coherence. When actions are aligned with intent, things move more easily.

About
Strategic thinking meets Human understanding
I'm Cheryl Jones, the founder of Jones by Design, an independent practice bringing together marketing, coaching and editorial design.
What do these three disciplines have in common? More than you might think. At their heart, all three are about identity, meaning and how we choose to express them.
Working with founders and small business owners, I've seen how closely business strategy and personal direction can be intertwined. Decisions about where to take a business are often inseparable from questions about what we want from life, what matters to us and what we're willing to build around
It's in this space between the strategic and the personal that I particularly enjoy working. Bringing curiosity, structure and a considered pace to untangling what's going on, finding a direction that feels right and turning that clarity into a practical plan.
I bring over 15 years of senior marketing and leadership experience to my work, including leadership roles within international organisations. That experience has shaped my ability to see the bigger picture, identify what matters and translate complexity into clear, practical direction.
Alongside my business experience, I've completed two year of Gestalt Therapy training with IFAS Paris and I am a certified coach through Somatic Coaching School London.
Just as importantly, I've spent many years on the other side of the room as a client myself. I know what it feels like to be in the chair.
